When you are using a washing machine, it is very important to clean it on a regular basis. Otherwise, the clothes will not be clean and will give you a bad feeling. There are many methods to clean your washing machine.

But one of the most effective ways is to use vinegar to clean your washing machine. You can do this with the help of a soft cloth or a sponge.

This method can also be used for any other types of machines and electrical appliances such as fans, computers, etc.

Here is the method

  1. Firstly, you have to remove the washing machine lid and then place a container under it. Then fill it with white vinegar.
  2. Turn on the washing machine and let it start rotating. The vinegar will go inside the washing machine and dissolve all the dirt and grease.
  3. After one hour, stop the washing machine and let it sit for 5 minutes before you open it again. This will prevent some parts of your washing machine from getting damaged due to pressure that is generated during this process.
  4. When you open your washing machine, use a cloth or sponge to wipe out all the dirt that has accumulated in there during this time period so that you can get rid of all the stains from your clothes as well as remove any smell from them which may be caused by vinegar or some other chemical substances present in it which can damage your clothes if not removed properly.
  5. Use the washing machine to wash your clothes as usual. If you want to remove any smell, you can use baking soda.

For another method, you can use an empty egg carton and place it under the washing machine’s lid.
