A water heater is a device that heats water to a higher temperature for domestic use. It is one of the essential devices that are used in our homes for keeping water at the right temperature.

There are different types of water heaters available in the market. They can largely be divided into two types, namely gas and electric. The different types of water heaters also differ from each other based on their design, size, and power source used to operate them. An Ariston water heater is one of the best and most efficient water heaters available in the market.

Water heaters can be operated by connecting them to a water source through an electric circuit or using a gas supply. Other possible options include solar-powered heaters, heat pump heaters, and others.

If you have a water heater, it’s quite easy operating it even without expert help. Here are the steps to using an Ariston water heater:

Check on the water tank capacity

Check the water tank capacity before you start using your water heater. Check the label on the water tank and make sure that it is in good condition. If it is cracked or damaged, it’s better to replace it with a new one instead of repairing it. If you’re going to mess with the tank, make sure to turn off the power first.

It’s best to drain any leftover water if it’s been there for a long time. This will ensure your water supply is free from any contaminants. If there are no signs of corrosion, it’s best to run it at least once a month to make sure that the tank is in good condition.

Connecting water lines

To connect your water lines, you need to open the side panel on the backside of your Ariston water heater and disconnect the old pipes that are connected to the tank. After this, connect them with new ones using an appropriate connector.

Once this is done, attach all these parts together using an appropriate clamping system that’s designed for connecting pipes together. Make sure that all connections are properly secured before you switch on your Ariston water heater for the first time after installing it.

Setting up temperature controls

If you have an electric Ariston water heater, make sure to set up the temperature controls correctly before you turn on your unit for the first time after installing it in your home or office. This will allow you to choose the right temperature that you want your water to be heated up to.

There are several options available for you to choose from such as preset temperatures, manual temperature controls, and others. The manual controls give you the freedom of setting the temperature according to your preference and comfort level, while preset temperatures are set recommendations per the manufacturer.

Turn on your water heater

Once all these steps are done, turn on your Ariston water heater and make sure that it’s working properly. By following the previous steps, it should work fine now.
